Hi,

Is it true that the old (i.e., July 1st - July 29th) filing fees still apply through July 27th - August 17th? The new fees (which would have been applicable from July 30th) will now be applicable from August 18th, right?

Is this true for I-485, I-765 and I-131 forms?

I am on H1B extension. Means my stamp is expired.
I have a ticket to go to India. I am traveling through the following route

Boston- London- Bahrain - Bombay.

I heard that I need to have transit visa for UK as my connection is in UK (2 Hrs).
I don't have the UK visa and I will not have the US visa at the time of entry in UK.

I have very sort time now in my hand.

1. I really need to have the UK transit visa?
2. Yes then how to get this?

What should I do now?

I was curious if somebody has experience of H1b stamping in dominican republic?

I am planning to go there on a business trip, is it advisable to just go and get it stamped there or should I rather go to canada/mexico and get H1 stamped.
I looked at their website but it's not really very helpful.

Guys ,
Here is my situation. greatly aprecite if you could give some suggestions.

I am presently on Non-cap H1b(which is not counted under cap). I am planning to file for H1b thru an employer in april under MS quota with a start date of octber 2008.
My concerns are...

1. How should the new employer file H1b so that I can join at my wish after oct 2008...??

2. My present H1b is valid untill 2010. SHould I be in US while filing and untill my new H1b is approved..??? I ahve plans of visisitng india in March/aprial. So wondering If i need to visit and be back before april or is it ok to travel while my new H1b is filed using the presnet i-94..?? that is trvelling sometime In april/May..???

Here is my case details

In US from Feb 2000 - till date
PD :Aug 2002
I140 approved on Aug 2004 (no rfe)
I485 rcpt :sep 2005 pending for approval...

worked with Company A and 2002,2003 w2's are way too low 9k and 25k. Went to home country for vacation 3 times on 2004, 2005.
my 2000,2001, 2004,2005,2006 till looks okie.. I dont have any other overstay or other issue.

Applied I485 on
2005. I guess my attorney filed my 2003 w2 with my i485 petion.
I chaged from company A to company B on 2005

Will im in trouble? UN or somebody can please help?
