Hi Folks-
We (5 People) work for IBM company, SFO, today we went personally to the congress men and we submit the letter which is provided in this forum and after that we called state senator office and we explained about our problem. We faxed and email the letter to the senator office, staff had taken my contact details and they told me that they will inform the solution in 2days.

My case is not yet approved, I Filed on Aug 01 st, Vermont Service Center.
Can you really go for H1 stamping when you are coming back on AP.
As far as I know, you should not use H1 at port of entry while coming back, if you do that your green card will be aboundend. Gurus please currect.

I believe, as mentioned earlier by willwin; we should meet the congress members to win their support for Visa Recapture Bill. IV is requested to set up the date and meetings. We are ready to participate.

Login to your bank account (This is for BoA)
Go to Bill Pay>>Payees>>Add a Payee
You will see two options
1)Pay a company
2) Pay an Individual
Click the GO button next to Pay an Individual (without entering any information)
In the next page
You will see a small form
Payee- is the name- in whose favor the check will be made
Nickname is for your reference
In Identifying information- you can put your handle
Rest is obvious
Payee creation is one time setup
Once you have created a payee
Go to Bill Pay>>Overview
and here you will see an option to make a payment

Girish - CIR was meant to help the illegals not us folk. I hope we never have to see CIR again . It would just mean millions more ahead in line whereas we who have been waiting for years will be sent to the dustbin.:mad:

And the US Consulate's web site at Mumbai has:

So, how come Consulates got the latest information? Why not post this on the DOS page too by the DOS?

Don't we need the consent of the petitioner (employer)? Please see the line item # 15.
Yes, you will need the consent of your I-140 petitioner (employer) to send this form. So there is no point in sending the form, if you cannot get your employer to sign it. Basically, its an employer petition and hence Ombudsman's office their consent to assist you.

what are the chances of Schedule A being alloted additional visa numbers in the next 2 years?

why do we have to get names from people...
simply decide a course of action... like send out letters or the big-as calculator brother singhsa3 suggested and let them ship it out individually
Most people here just want to discuss but when it comes to action - you will notice that they would not even give out their proper name to IV while registering - so mobilizing is not as easy as discussing it here.
Discussion forums are good because ideas emerge here - ideas are needed for execution and discussing pressing issues must lead us towards a path to execution.
The question is - can all those who do that talk actually walk the talk?
